ROOMS
& RATES
UNIT
No 1 / Sleeps 1 to 2 pers.
Double room with en-suite bathroom :
Situated
in the Residence, this room embraces the outdoor environment
by combining indigenous natural elements, traditional African
influences, touches of artistry and classic elegance. With
the fusion of chocolate and caramel tones, curvy textured
finishes, dark wooden accessories, slate-tiled floor and
in-built “roc-style” furnishings, a bush-lodge
ambience has been created. The room features a king-size
bed and has an en-suite bathroom
which evokes the colors of the Kalahari red-sand-dunes sceneries
and the “Big Five” theme; it is equipped with
a round shower scattered with pebbles and
mosaics, a large corner bath and double
hand-painted basins. From the private
terrace overlooking the pool, an idyllic panorama
of the garden melting into the Orange River Valley and the
infinite Kalahari semi-desert can be enjoyed. Access: Direct
from garden.

UNIT NO 2 + OPTIONAL ADDIT. BEDROOM (2b) / Sleeps
1 to 4 pers.
The Unit No 2 can be booked with or without
its additional bedroom 2b.
The cosy colonial-tropical atmosphere of the Unit
No 2 is accentuated by variations of pastels and
quiet neutral shades, complemented by a contrasting terracotta-tiled
floor, sunny accessories and hand-carved wooden twin-single
beds (extra-length) which are commutable
into a king bed.
The smaller – but charming - additional bedroom
to the Unit No 2 is situated next door and reflects a rustic
country feel with the combination of a wrought-iron queen-size
bed, wrought-iron accessories, warm woods, a terracotta-tiled
floor and soothing natural tones enhanced by original mosaic
Art works.
The sea-themed décor and Mexican-style mosaic finishes
of the nearby separate private bathroom
create a refreshing “exotic-island” feel. Features
of the bathroom include a bath,
a separate shower and a single
basin.
The Unit No 2 and its bedroom 2b have each a glass sliding-door
flowing out onto their own private verandah
from where picturesque views of the palm tree garden and
partly of the Orange River Valley melting into the endless
Kalahari semi-desert can be enjoyed. Access: Direct from
garden, as well as from indoors.
The Unit No 2, its bedroom 2b and the private bathroom are
all three situated in a separate section of the residence,
without any other guestrooms or bathrooms nearby; therefore,
this accommodation option offers full privacy despite the
three elements being apart.
